Sunday AM Service
Hi team!
This is the Lord's Word, His promise - that He is for us, and so nothing can be against us. So we look unto God, the author and perfecter of our faith, knowing that He & His word cannot and will not fail us. Our part is then to rest, be still and know that He is God.
Songs for this week (please have a listen to all links and come to practice on time - will have a fair few things to go through)
1. Give me oil in my lamp [A] (start off slow in verse 1 - soul-ish), then tap in and break out into something like THIS . Not completely the same, but the same upbeat feel. Would like to do the bit where they sing with just a cutesy keyboard bit in the middle. No breaks in between like they do. Will do echos & stuff with the singers. For chorus, would like singers to come in on the off-beat (sing, hosanna).
2. Trading my sorrows [D]. In the middle, we will prolly transpose twice [E] then [F] as they do HERE .
